LEAGUE HISTORY



The Suburban Maryland Synagogue Men's Softball league was formed in the early to mid 1990s . Over the years, the league grew to as many as 26 teams from Reform, Conservative, and Orthodox congregations in the Montgomery and Howard County areas. The league emphasizes sportsmanship, fun, and healthy competition to fill our Sunday mornings. Unfortunately, we lost the league history prior to 2011.

PLAYOFF CHAMPIONS



Playoffs? You want to talk about playoffs! Yes, the post-season, where legends are born and middle aged men sweat their asses off on Sunday mornings in June and July. Many have played in triple-headers and lived to tell the tale - oh yes, they will be more than happy to tell you the story of the 100+ degree, blazing sun, victory (or defeat).

All enter, but there can be only one to claim the trophy, and more importantly, the bragging rights of a Champion.
